Easter Season – 2025!

There is so much going on during this Lenten and Easter season at CUMC! Here’s what’s available:

Ash Wednesday Luncheon on March 5 at Noon at church  

Ash Wednesday Worship –
On March 5th there will be two Worship Services. 1 PM and 7 PM, respectively.

ALL AROUND EASTER  – Our Sunday School classes will participate in weekly adventures as they follow Jesus’s steps during his last days on earth. We will look forward to Palm Sunday, His last supper, and spend time with Him in the garden. We will learn that His sacrifice on the cross, although sad, was His Father’s plan to set us free from our sins. And again, we look forward to His RESURRECTION! Thank you, Sunday School teachers, for making this program possible for our children! This program will run from March 9th to April 13th.

Bible Study

The Lenten Bible Study Series will occur from March 11 to April 15, 2025, at 11 AM and 6:30 PM.

Lenten Offering

We want to invite you to participate in our Lenten Sacrificial Offering. The idea is to set aside one dollar for each of the forty days of Lent. The total amount raised will be donated to a charitable organization, agency, or program that serves the needs of youth and less fortunate people in our community.

Easter Flower Sale

Sunday, March 23 marks the beginning of our Easter Flower Sale, Available for order are:Fancy three-color

  • Easter Mums: $10
  • Easter Lilies: $10
  • Tulips: $9
  • Hyacinths: $9

Order forms will be included in the bulletin, and a devoted member of the Worship Team will be on hand to collect them. Prayer Box

The Purple Prayer Box at the front of the Sanctuary is a place where you can offer your personal prayers for this Lenten Season. Use the purple prayer cards provided in the pew racks; you can offer as many prayers as you choose. All are considered part of your private conversation with God during this Holy time. The box will remain closed until the Sunrise Service on Easter morning. At that time, the box will be burned, and the prayers lifted by the smoke.

Palm Sunday is April 13

Maundy Thursday is April 17 at 7 PM

Join us in celebrating Holy Thursday with a reenactment of the Last Supper… a true Love Feast!

Good Friday is April 18 at & 7 PM
