Confirmation Class
Becoming a member of the Christian faith and the Cicero United Methodist Church is an ongoing process involving study and practice. For youth, we call this the Confirmation Process and it is a multi-faceted set of experiences designed to both educate and involve the student in becoming a full member of our church.
It uses a formal program of lessons, relationships with mentors from the church congregation and interactive activities to build a stronger Christian faith and awareness of the responsibilities of church membership. The 6th grade year is traditionally the time for confirmation class activities at our church and the curriculum of the 6th grade Sunday School class is structured around the Book of Luke. Older children are also welcome to participate.
To learn more about how you can start the Confirmation process, please read through the materials below and then contact Sue Bonspille directly or through the church office!
