MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the second Tuesday of each month when we provide a dinner for the students at the Canteen Teen Center. We always need food donations and a few people to serve. Look for the sign up sheet in the welcome Center.
Christmas Cards for Meals on Wheels
THANK YOU to all who helped us make Easter cards for the Meals on Wheels recipients. It doesn’t take much to brighten someone’s day and remind them of God’s love. We delivered over 300 cards! If you are interested in helping, we will also be making Christmas cards.
LOVE’S LAUNDRY: Many of us do not realize how expensive it can be to do laundry at the laundromat, especially if you have a large family. To help lessen thisburden, our group started “Love’s Laundry”. We meet at the Mattydale Colonial Laundromat four time a year to provide quarters, soap,dryer sheets, a smile and friendly conversation. Many of those we’ve met have been curious about our Church and this Mission and want to learn more about us.
BLESSING BOX – Contribute To or Use It ! For those who may be having a hard time with food or other items of need, there is a Blessing Box located outside the rear entrance of church. This is for all to use – take what you need OR drop off items when you can…food insecurity is a real problem everywhere, even right in our own backyard. Food is always needed, but also soap, shampoo, conditioner, feminine hygiene products, baby wipes and cleaning supplies. Anything you use in your home, someone could probably use if they are struggling. Thank you and God Bless you and be with you in your struggle and your generosity.
