Youth Fellowship

Introduction to UMYF

Welcome to Cicero United Methodist Youth Fellowship, affectionately known as MYF.  We are a group specifically geared toward youth in grades 7-12.  At MYF we believe that faith is a journey, not a destination.  No two journeys look alike and we embrace those differences.  Whether you’ve been attending church here, somewhere else, or have never set foot in a place of worship, we welcome you!  Our group offers opportunity for fellowship, mission, volunteerism, Bible study, prayer, retreats, quiet places to pray and a fun and relaxing place to hang out.  No matter where you are on your journey with God, we encourage you to come as you are and be yourself.  We typically meet 2 Sunday’s a month from 12:30-2:30 in the afternoon.  We have a team of caring adults who have a heart for ministering to youth that would be happy to welcome you and walk your journey with you. Please drop in to any meeting or contact the church office with questions.  We are always happy to have you just as you are.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

If you are an adult who has a heart for youth and are interested in volunteering, please contact one of our pastors or our church office.  We would love to sit down and talk with you and find a way for you to join us on our adventures in youth ministry.
