The Staff/Parish Relations Committee is the personnel committee of the church. We interpret the nature and function of ministry and the work of the pastor and staff to the congregation. We counsel the pastor and staff on congregational goals and objectives and professional growth. We develop job descriptions and evaluate the staff annually. We evaluate the ministry of our church and advise the Bishop regarding pastoral appointment annually. We review the parsonage with the Trustees annually. We recommend compensation for the pastor and staff to the Administrative Board. We recruit and recommend employment of staff persons to the Administrative Council. We identify and recruit persons into ordained ministry. We oversee the church's sexual abuse prevention process.

Persons with concerns regarding the pastor and/or staff are encouraged to talk to one of the committee members. The committee will not accept or act on anonymous input.
